1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Gracie Barra Whittier. By visiting this website, signing up for our free trial, or attending classes at our studio, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
2. Use License
The text, photos, logos, and graphics on this site are owned by Gracie Barra Whittier or used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish, or modify our content for commercial use without written permission. The Gracie Barra name and logo are trademarks of Gracie Barra and used under license.
3. Free Trial Offer Terms
Our Free 3-Class Pass is designed to let new students experience our programs with no risk and no pressure. The following terms apply:
- New students only. The Free 3-Class Pass is valid for first-time students only. Limit one pass per household.
- 30-day window. Trial classes must be claimed and attended within 30 days of opting in. Unused classes after that window expire.
- Free uniform rental. A clean uniform is provided for use during the trial period only. The uniform is not for purchase or retention and must be returned at the end of the trial.
- No contracts, no obligation. There is no purchase requirement during the trial. You decide whether to continue after your three classes.
- Studio discretion. Gracie Barra Whittier reserves the right to refuse service or cancel a trial at its sole discretion, including for safety or conduct reasons.
4. Health and Safety Disclaimer
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts training involve physical activity, contact, and inherent risk of injury. By participating, you acknowledge these risks. We strongly recommend you consult a physician before starting any new physical activity, especially if you have an existing medical condition. Always train within your ability and follow instructor guidance.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gracie Barra Whittier and its instructors, owners, and staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website or participation in our programs. Our website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
